"Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body." (Hebrews 13:3)
The author to the Hebrews is talking about those who are in prison and mistreated becauseof their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He tells us to remember them. How can we do that? Open Doors have just published their World Watch List for 2017, it's a depressing read, but a necessary read if we are to remember our brothers and sisters before the Lord.

Whatever we do let us not forget them.
Heavenly Father, please be with those suffering because of their faith in the Lord Jesus, please may they know that you will never leave them nor forsake them. Please give them the grace to pray for those who persecute them and to love their enemies. Please set them free. Please help us not to forget them. Please provide for them and keep them confident in your love and sovereign care. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
