The brutal murder of 49 people in the Pulse nightclub in Orlando is a tragedy. We are to weep with those who weep (Romans 12:15). We pray for those suffering the aftermath of this awful attack. We pray for many in the LGBT community who must be facing all sorts of emotions at this distressing time may come to know God as their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray that they may know God's peace that passes understanding through Jesus Christ who showed what love is by voluntarily laying down his life for others that we might know life.
A lot has been written on the attack from all sorts of perspective, but the most helpful article I've found is "What would Jesus Say us after the Orlando tragedy?" you can read it here.
